From the Miscellaneous options menu, you can control certain routine maintenance functions. This menu is displayed when you select the Miscellaneous options option from the showroom main menu.
Nominal posting table: Nominal posting tables are used in the Showroom module when printing invoices and credit notes. When an invoice is produced the system locates the posting table required and makes Nominal Ledger postings for Sales, Cost of Sales and Stock.
Note: An understanding of the Chart of Accounts, the Franchise Data module, analysis codes and sale types is required before the posting tables can be created.
Sales type codes: Sale types will need to be created to be used in the nominal posting tables. The sale type is entered into the quotation/order process.
Analysis codes: There are two analysis code records, one for New vehicles and one for Used vehicles. These records can be modified but not deleted.
Finance maintenance: Finance schemes are created and maintained here. The system allows for finance companies to be created and then within each finance company, finance schemes can be created.
Trade-in Adjustment code maintenance: Trade-in adjustment codes are created and maintained here.
Sales team maintenance: Sales teams are created and maintained here.
Optimisation rates maintenance: Optimisation rates are created and maintained here.
View stock profiling: Create and maintain vehicle trade-in profiles used to gauge stock levels.
