Exporting Data

This facility allows a report or file to be processed and saved to a directory or host server so that you can open it at your convenience.

Export Facilities Form

The Export Facilities form is displayed when you click System Utilities > MANAGEMENT MENU > Export facilities.

Export facility: Type of export facility (normally a standard report created in Report Generator).

Description: Up to 30 character description of the export facility.

Host directory: Name of the directory you are exporting to.

Export to PC: Whether to export the report to PC or not.

PC directory: The directory on your PC that the report is to be exported to.

Format: The file format for the exported report.

Note: The file is only exported after the relevant file type (e.g. CSV) is entered.

Scratch after export: Whether to delete the report after you have exported it.

Browser address: The browser address for the html help files to be exported to.

Buttons:

Exit: Returns you to the Master or Module menu that you are in.

Ad-hoc: Click the Ad-hoc button to construct database queries and display or print the result.
