This feature, which is available on all modules of the system, allows the System Administrator to either prevent users from gaining access to the Stock Management module, or if that has already been carried out, to allow them access once again.
It can also be used to display a list of users currently logged into Stock Management, possibly prior to deciding whether or not to prevent any further access, or to clear the Stock Management control file of any users who at one time logged into the system but did not log out correctly, and have left a corresponding entry in the control file.
To prevent/allow access, display users or clear illegal users:
The STOCK MANAGEMENT menu is displayed.
Select the System maintenance option and click OK.
The SM SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu is displayed.
