This option is only available to users who have the Accounts Transaction log option switched on in CRM user access control. This can be done on both company and customer records.
Once the option is selected regardless of which type of record you were in originally the Account transaction log form will be opened.
The transactions displayed in here are transactions that have been processed through the linked accounts files. There are four main areas to the form which are:-
The selection area allows you to change the accounts period in which the transactions fall. It will default with the single period radio button selected, but there are four option available.
Single Period: This allows you to look at transactions related to the record loaded for a single accounting period. You can select the period using the drop down on the period and year fields.
Range: This allows you to look at transactions related to the record loaded for a selected accounting period range. You can select the range using the drop downs on the period and year fields.
Prior Period: This allows you to look at transactions related to the record loaded for a previous accounting period. You can select the period using the drop down on the period and year fields.
Period After: This allows you to look at transactions related to the record loaded for an accounting period prior to the current period. You can select the period using the drop down on the period and year fields.
The transaction types area allows you to select the types of transactions displayed in the grid. To select the transaction type simply click on the option to highlight it.
There are two push buttons on this part of the form they are:-
Select All: This allows you to toggle on all of the transactions type in one go rather than selecting each one individually.
Clear: This allows you to select all of the transaction types in one go.

The display area of the form allows you to select what currency types you want to display you can choose either base currency or foreign currency. You can also choose the date order that the transactions are displayed in. This can either be forwards (earliest first) or back wards (latest first). To select the options you require simply click the radio button that corresponds to the option you require.
Tip: The options on this form that you are able to amend or select all have accelerator keys on them to make selection possible using the keyboard rather than the mouse. Each of the options has a letter in the title that has an underscore (_). To select the option you will need to check which letter has the underscore then hold the Alt and the letter key down together.
The grid displays the information relating to the transactions you have selected. The grid has ten columns, there are:-
