QUOTATION DEFAULTS (VEHICLE FILTER TAB)

Overview

The Vehicle Filter Tab is used to restrict the vehicles that may be selected for this company for quotation purposes.

The following fields are displayed:

Vehicle Override Code: The override code, if applicable, set up within Override Management. This can define down to vehicle variant level what vehicles can be quoted upon. This can be used on its own or in conjunction with the other fields in this tab to restrict the vehicles that can be quoted on.

Body Type: Enables quotations to be restricted to vehicles of a particular bosy type, e.g. hatchbook, sallon, estate, etc. The button enables a toggle display facility in which one or more options may be selected. Standard Windows functionality may be used here. i.e. select the first option then hold the CTLR key and make further selections, etc.

Engine Size From: Consists of two fields which provide a "To" and "From" facility, enabling an engine C.C. "range" to be entered. C.C. being the Cubic Capacity of the engine. The minimum engine size is entered in the Engine Size From field and the maximum engine size in the Engine Size To field. Any vehicles which have an engine size which is equal to or greater than the minimum engine size and equal to or less than the maximum engine size are displayed.

Engine Size To: Consists of two fields which provide a "To" and "From" facility, enabling an engine C.C. "range" to be entered. C.C. being the Cubic Capacity of the engine. The minimum engine size is entered in the Engine Size From field and the maximum engine size in the Engine Size To field. Any vehicles which have an engine size which is equal to or greater than the minimum engine size and equal to or less than the maximum engine size are displayed.

Number of Doors: Enables quotations to be restricted to vehicles containing the number of doors held within this field. The button enables a toggle display facility in which one or more options may be selected. Standard Windows functionality may be used here. i.e. select the first option then hold the CTLR key and make further selections, etc.

Fuel Type: Enables quotations to be restricted to vehicles of a particular fuel type e.g. Petrol, LPG, etc. The button enables a toggle display facility in which one or more options may be selected. Standard Windows functionality may be used here. i.e. select the first option then hold the CTLR key and make further selections, etc.

Transmission Type: Enables quotations to be restricted to vehicles conforming to a particular transmission type e.g. manual, automatic, etc. The button enables a toggle display facility in which one or more options may be selected. Standard Windows functionality may be used here. i.e. select the first option then hold the CTLR key and make further selections, etc.

Ratesbook Number: Allows a ratesbook for this customer to be nominated to be updated by the Timed Operations process.

Ratesbook Frequency: Determines the frequency that the Ratesbook Number is to be updated in Timed Operations e.g. Daily, Weekly or Monthly.
