The Quotation Defaults set-up screen is accessed via CRM / Record Maintenance and selection of a company from the Company Tab. The Fleet Details option should then be taken from the Company Menu. This form is used to define customer-level defaults against specific customers..
Note: Although used within the Fleet System this screen is located within the CRM module.
The screen is split into four areas which are as follows:
In addition to displaying the screen name the Title Bar provides a number of useful buttons.
The top of this dialogue box displays the following details:
Displays the unique system generated MK/CRM record number for the currently selected company record.
Two distinct fields. The first field displays the company shortname for the currently selected company record. The second field displays the full company name.
This area beneath is divided into a series of eight Tabs, each containing a number of customer default values applicable to a certain area. These Tabs are as follows:
The Quotation Tab is used to define general top-level customer defaults for the values used within the Fleet Quotation form.
The Products Tab is used to define the default products used within the Fleet Quotation form for cars, commercials and heavy commercials.
The Option Discounts Tab is used to define customer discounts for vehicle factory and dealer options.
The Excess Mileage Tab is used to define customer excess mileage rates/breaks for specific vehicle groups.
The Under Mileage Tab is used to define customer under mileage rates/breaks for specific vehicle groups.
The Acceptance Tab is used to define order acceptance defaults.
The Web Defaults Tab is used to define customer level defaults for the web quotations module.
The Fleet Numbers Tab is used to allocate VRB Fleet numbers at manufacturer level so that the fleet number can be passed from the original quotation through to the agreement.
The Accidents Tab is used to hold accident management information that may be used within the Accident Management module for notational purposes, etc, for this company.
The Vehicle Filter Tab is used to restrict the vehicles that may be selected for this company for quotation purposes.
A number of command buttons are available. Some buttons are context sensitive and are greyed-out and only become available dependent upon the particular process that is being accessed. The full list of command buttons is as follows:
Places the form in edit mode so that amendments may be made to the company fleet defaults.
Saves any amendments that are made to the company fleet defaults.
Exits the Quotation Defaults screen and returns to the Marketing company record.
Provides online access to a context sensitive Help screen.
