Linking Fastfit Parts

All parts on a Fastfit WIP, with the exception of tyres, must be attached to a labour line in Fastfit departments. When a part number is added to the WIP, you are prompted to select the labour line you want to attach the part to.

To link a part on a Fastfit WIP to a labour line:

  1. Raise a Point-of-Sale WIP, and load the part in the normal way.

The Link Fastfit parts form is displayed.

  2. Select the labour line to link the part number to and click OK.

Note: The labour line must be invoiceable and have the Warranty/payment code filled in. Lines displayed in grey are not available, because the VAT code is different to the VAT code of the part being added. Internal sales types are always available for selection.

If there are no suitable labour lines on the WIP, an error message is displayed.

The Other Stock form is displayed, showing stock information on the part that you are linking.

  3. Click OK.

The Part Details form is displayed, enabling you to view and amend details of the part.

  4. Make any changes required and click OK.

The part is added to the WIP, linked to the selected labour line.
