Fastfit Reporting is able to ask the user questions at various points during the life of a WIP (for example, as a part is added to the WIP or when the invoice is produced). The answers to these questions are recorded and can be used to produce sales figures for each answer in Fastfit reports.
A list of questions is supplied, but you can add, amend and delete questions to suit your own needs. You can have a different set of questions for Service and Fastfit departments.
To update the list of questions:
From the Operations Menu select Fastfit reporting followed by the name of the Point-of-Sale company you require.
The Fastfit Reporting form is displayed.
Click the Fastfit Reporting options button 
on the form's toolbar or select Edit > Options on the menu bar.
The Fastfit Reporting Options form is displayed with the Reporting options tab active.
Select the Questions tab. You can view, amend or delete an existing question or add a new one.
To view the properties of an existing question:
Highlight the required question and click View.
The Question Properties form is displayed, showing the properties of the selected question.
Click Close to return to the Questions tab or Amend to edit the question's properties.
To add to the list of questions:
Click Add.
A blank Question Properties form is displayed.
Complete the form and click OK.
You are returned to the Questions tab with the new question added.
To amend the properties of an existing question:
Highlight the required question and click Amend.
The Question Properties form is displayed, with details for the selected question.
Amend the details on the form as required and click OK.
You are returned to the Questions tab with the details for the selected question updated.
To delete an existing question:
Highlight the required question and click Delete.
The Question Properties form is displayed, with details for the selected question.
Click Delete.
The selected question is removed from the list.
Active: A tick indicates that the question will be asked when the POS triggering event defined in the question's properties is encountered. Click the field to turn the tick on or off.
Question: Text of the question that will be asked in Point-of-Sale.
Trigger: Triggering event that causes the question to be asked. At present one of the following:
- Booking In (as the WIP is held)
- Invoice (at the point of invoicing)
- Labour line creation (as a labour line is added to the WIP)
- Part line creation (as a part line is added to the WIP)
- Marketing retrieval (not used)
- Menu price line (not used)
Buttons:
View: Displays the properties of the selected question.
Add: Enables you to add a new question.
Amend: Enables you to edit the selected question's properties.
Delete: Enables you to delete the selected question.
Cancel: Returns you to the Fastfit Reporting form, ignoring any changes you made on the Questions tab.
Save: Returns you to the Fastfit Reporting form, saving any changes you made on the Questions tab.
