Searching for a Campaign or Making a Status Enquiry

Note: This help system contains standard information, some of which might not apply to your franchise. There might be a help file specific to your Autoline configuration. It could be either in the help system specific to your manufacturer, or displayed when you click the Help button on the relevant form or menu.

A facility is available that allows you to search for a campaign by campaign code, chassis number or registration number.

To search for a campaign:

1. From the OPERATIONS menu, select the Recalls menu option.

   The Recall Campaigns menu is displayed.

2. Select the Campaigns option and the appropriate SO company.

   The Recall Campaign Maintenance Form is displayed.

3. On the Campaign code field, click the ellipsis button [...].

   The Campaign Search Form is displayed and the Headers Search type radio button is already selected.

4. If known, enter a campaign code or description and click OK, or select the Vehicle/Status radio button and enter a chassis or registration number.

   Tip: Alternatively, click the Find button to list all campaign codes or chassis numbers.

   The Recall Campaign Maintenance Form is populated with campaign details, ready to be amended.

Campaign Search Form

The Campaign Search form is displayed when you click the ellipsis button on the Campaign code field on the Recall Campaign maintenance form. This form allows you to search for campaign work and campaign status.

Search text:

Tip: Select a Search type before entering any search text.

Enter the words against which you want to carry out a search of campaign work.

Search type:

The search type filters the search criteria

Campaign: The manufacturer's campaign code.

Chassis: Allows you to search for campaign work by a specific chassis number (VIN).

Reg No: Allows you to search for campaign work by a specific vehicle registration number.

Status:

Allows you to determine the campaign statuses that you want to include in the search.

Search Results

For each record that matches the search criteria, the system displays a summary of the following details:

Campaign: The manufacturer's campaign code.

Chassis: The chassis number (VIN).

Reg number: The vehicle registration number.

Status: The status of the campaign. Complete or In Progress.

Wip number: The work-in-progress number generated in POS.

Date completed: The date that the campaign work was completed.

Company: The Point-of-Sale company number.

PUSH BUTTONS

: Commences the search based on the specified search criteria.

Close: Closes the Campaign status enquiry form and returns you to the Recall Campaign maintenance form.

Help: Displays help on the current application using the default browser.
