Viewing a Vehicle Summary

Note: This help system contains standard information, some of which might not apply to your franchise. There might be a help file specific to your Autoline configuration. It could be either in the help system specific to your manufacturer, or displayed when you click the Help button on the relevant form or menu.

A facility is available that allows you to view. If the campaign work is complete for a vehicle, you can also view a more detailed summary.

To view a list of vehicles within a campaign:

  1. From the OPERATIONS menu, select the Recalls menu option.

    The Recall Campaigns menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Campaigns option and the appropriate SO company.

    The Recall Campaign Maintenance Form is displayed.

  3. Enter the Campaign code.

    Tip: If you do not know the campaign code, click the ellipsis button [...] to search for a campaign. Leave the field blank to list all vehicles within a campaign or narrow the search by specifying a chassis or registration number.

    The details of the campaign are defaulted into the form.

  4. Select the Vehicles tab.

    A list of vehicles relating to the campaign is displayed.

  5. To view a vehicle against which the campaign work is complete, select the vehicle and click the View button.

    The Campaign Status form is displayed.

  6. To return to the Recall Campaign Maintenance form, click the OK button.

Vehicles Tab

The Vehicles tab of the Recall Campaign maintenance Form lists all the vehicles for which the campaign is valid.

Chassis: The chassis number (VIN) held in the marketing vehicle record.

Reg number: The vehicle registration number.

Status: The status of the campaign work.

PUSH BUTTONS

View: If a campaign has been completed, this option allows you to view additional details about the campaign work for a selected vehicle.

Campaign Status Form

The Campaign Status Form is displayed when you view completed campaign work against a vehicle on the Vehicles tab of the Recall Campaign maintenance form. This form displays additional details about completed campaign work for a selected vehicle.

Campaign Code: The manufacturer's campaign code.

Sequence number: A number that gives the campaign a unique identifier.

Chassis: The chassis number (VIN).

Status: a summary of all vehicles for a campaign and completed campaign work:

Date: The date the campaign work was completed.

Wip Number: The work-in-progress number generated in POS.

Company number: The Point-of-Sale company number.
