Importing and Converting Campaign Data

Note: This help system contains standard information, some of which might not apply to your franchise. There might be a help file specific to your Autoline configuration. It could be either in the help system specific to your manufacturer, or displayed when you click the Help button on the relevant form or menu.

Each time that you receive a new release of campaign data from the manufacturer, you must import and convert the data on the Autoline system. From the Conversion tab of the Setting up a Campaign, you can import campaign data to the Autoline system and convert it to the correct file format.

To import and convert campaign data:

  1. From the OPERATIONS menu, select the Campaigns option.

    The Recalls menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Recalls campaign setup option.

    The system prompts you for the Point-of-Sale (SO) company.

  3. Select the SO company.

    The Recall Campaigns Form is displayed.

  4. From the Conversion tab, click the Import button.

    The Data import form is displayed.

    Note: Ensure that the settings are correct before you try to import the data.

  5. Click the Import button.

    The system displays a progress of the import.

  6. To convert the data, click the Convert button.

    The system displays a progress of the conversion. When the conversion is complete, the following message is displayed:

    Conversion complete.

  7. Click the OK button.

Buttons

Import: Allows you to specify the data source and import campaign data to the Autoline system.

Convert: Converts campaign data imported to Autoline.
