Changing Campaign Parameters

Note: This help system contains standard information, some of which might not apply to your franchise. There might be a help file specific to your Autoline configuration. It could be either in the help system specific to your manufacturer, or displayed when you click the Help button on the relevant form or menu.

After clicking the Parameters button on the Recall Campaigns Form, you can set up the default parameters accordingly before you use campaign data in POS.

To change the default parameter settings:

  1. From the OPERATIONS menu, select the Recalls option.

    The Recall Campaigns menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Recalls campaign setup option.

    The system prompts you for the Point-of-Sale (SO) company.

  3. Select the SO company.

    The Recall Campaigns Form is displayed.

  4. Click the Change parameters button.

    The Campaign Parameters form is displayed.

  5. Set up the parameters as necessary.

  6. Click the Save button.

Campaign Parameters Form

Before you load a campaign in Point-of-Sale, ensure that the default parameters are set up correctly.

General

Active: Select this tick box to activate the new campaign parameters.

Default SL account: The default account on the Sales Ledger used for Warranty. From this account, the system determines which labour type code to use.

Default part prefix: Part code prefix.

Recall text line

RTS franchise: Franchise the RTS relates to.

Recall RTS code: The default RTS code used when there are no labour or parts items associated with a recall (non-coded labour).

Labour franchise code: Franchise code the labour rate is assigned to.

Labour rate code: Labour rate for recall text line.
