Attaching Items to a Menu

You can attach items to menus or remove existing items from them.

To attach or remove menu items:

  1. On the Vauxhall Aftersales Workbench form, right-click the header of the menu you want to add items to or remove items from and click Attach items.

    The Attach Items To Menu form is displayed, with available items for that menu displayed in the Available items list and selected items in the Selected items list.

  2. Select any jobs or parts that you want to remove in the Selected items list and click Remove.

    The item is moved from the Selected items list to the Available items list.

  3. Select any jobs or parts that you want to add in the Available items list and click Add.

    The item is moved from the Available items list to the Selected items list.

  4. Continue doing this until the Selected items list contains only those items you require and click OK.

    You are returned to the Vauxhall Aftersales Workbench form with the menu adjusted in accordance with your changes.

Attach Items To Menu Form

This form is displayed when you right-click a menu header on the Vauxhall Aftersales Workbench form. It enables you to attach or remove menu items.

Menu code: Reference code for the menu that has been removed from the Shopping Basket.

Description: Description of the menu.

Available items/Selected items Grid:

Type: Either an item of work (indicated by a clock symbol), a part (indicated by a plug symbol) or a quantity of fluid (indicated by an oil can symbol).

Code: Code reference for the item.

Description: Describes the item.

Buttons:

Add: Transfers an item highlighted in the Available items grid to the Selected items grid.

Remove: Transfers an item highlighted in the Selected items grid to the Available items grid.

Cancel: Returns you to the Vauxhall Aftersales Workbench form, with your changes abandoned.

OK: Returns you to the Vauxhall Aftersales Workbench form, with your changes implemented.
