Creating a New Point-of-Sale Company or Dealer Group

You can select a new Point-of-Sale company or dealer group to create SADE parameters for.

Creating a New Point-of-Sale Company

To create a new Point-of-Sale company:

Note: If no company parameters exist, you must create the company parameters first.

From the General Motors Group Operations Menu select the SADE extract option followed by the Point-of-Sale company you require.

The General Motors Group SADE form is displayed.
From the View menu select either Programmes table, Brand list, Employee mapping table or Parameters, or click the button on the toolbar corresponding to any of those options.

The SADE Parameters & Controls form is displayed with the Programmes, Brand List, Employees or Company Parameters tab available.
Either select I want to ... > Create a new POS company from the menu bar or click the New company toolbar button.

The Select New SADE Company form is displayed.
Click the Drop-down button to select the company required and click OK.

The New Company Creation Wizard is launched. It has six sections: Introduction, Company details, Dealer settings, Department codes, POS codes and Employees.
Complete each section of the Wizard in turn and click Next to advance to the next section. When the last section of the Wizard is complete, click Save.

The new Point-of-Sale company is created.

Select New SADE Company Form

Company:

Company: Name of new Point-of-Sale company to create SADE parameters for, selectable by clicking the Drop-down button.

Buttons:

OK: Launches the New Company Creation Wizard.

Cancel: Abandons the new company creation and returns you to the SADE Parameters & Controls form.

Creating a New Dealer Group

To create a new dealer group:

Note: If no dealer parameters exist, you must create the dealer parameters first.

From the General Motors Group Operations Menu select the SADE extract option followed by the Point-of-Sale company you require.

The General Motors Group SADE form is displayed.
From the View menu select either Programmes table, Brand list, Employee mapping table or Parameters, or click the button on the toolbar corresponding to any of those options.

The SADE Parameters & Controls form is displayed with the Programmes, Brand List, Employees or Company Parameters tab available.
Either select I want to ... > Create a new dealer group from the menu bar or click the New Dealer toolbar button.

The New Dealer Code Creation Wizard is launched. It has six sections: Introduction, Dealer code, Brands, Programmes, Country and Miscellaneous.
Complete each section of the Wizard in turn and click Next to advance to the next section. When the last section of the Wizard is complete, click Save.

The new dealer group is created.
