This tab is part of the Autoline Order Workbench Interface form. It becomes available when you log in to Channel-21TM From this tab you can search GM Order Workbench for existing vehicles, orders and pre-orders.
C21 Web Interface:
Configure using GME VC: When this option button is selected, you can enter a reference or pre-order number for the GVC configuration in the Reference Number field in the Criteria group, or click the field's ellipsis button to find a previous configuration. The Launch global configurator button becomes available. Click it and if a previous GVC reference is selected you are prompted to recall the current configuration or overwrite the existing configuration. You are then directed to the GVC web page where you can configure a valid vehicle.
Order from GME VC: When this option button is selected, you can enter a GVC reference in the Reference Number field in the Criteria group to retrieve the details of a saved GVC session. The Upload config from GVC to OWB button becomes available. Click it and a web browser is launched and the vehicle order web page displayed with the configuration loaded.
Order from PreOrder: When this option button is selected, you can enter a GVC reference number in the Reference Number field and/or a pre-order number in the Pre-Order ID field in the Criteria group. The Launch browser button becomes available. Click it and a web browser navigates to the interface that allows amendment of certain details of a confirmed order.
Confirmed order update: When this option button is selected, you can enter a vehicle number in the Vehicle Number field in the Criteria group. The Launch Browser button becomes available. Click it and a new browser or the existing OWB interface browser navigates to the update order interface.
Inquire Vehicle: When this option button is selected, the Vehicle Number, VIN and Order number fields become available. Populate one of the fields to search for a particular vehicle. The Launch browser button becomes available. Click it and a web browser navigates to an order summary page providing details of the progress of a vehicle.
Locate Vehicle: When this option button is selected, you can populate the Reference Number and Pre-order ID fields in the Criteria group. The Launch Browser button becomes available. Click it and a browser is launched, or the existing one is reused, and the vehicle locator utility is displayed.
Manage Existing Orders: When this option button is selected, the Launch Browser button becomes available. Click it and a browser is launched, or the existing one is reused, and the web browser navigates to the manage existing orders web page.
PreOrder Searches:
Date/Reference number: When this option button is selected, you can populate the Reference Number, From Date and To Date fields in the Criteria group. The Search OWB button becomes available. Click it and the search results are displayed in the Retrieved Data tab.
Pre-Order number: When this option button is selected, you can populate the Pre-Order ID field in the Criteria group. The Search OWB button becomes available. Click it and the search results are displayed in the Retrieved Data tab.
Order Searches:
Date/Reference Number: When this option button is selected, you can populate the Reference Number, From Date and To Date fields in the Criteria group. The Search OWB button becomes available. Click it and the search results are displayed in the Retrieved Data tab.
Vehicle Number: When this option button is selected, you can populate the Vehicle Number field in the Criteria group. The Search OWB button becomes available. Click it and the search results are displayed in the Retrieved Data tab.
Order Number: When this option button is selected, you can populate the Order Number field in the Criteria group. The Search OWB button becomes available. Click it and the search results are displayed in the Retrieved Data tab.
Criteria:
Which fields and buttons are available in this group, and their functions, depends upon which option button is selected in the C21 Web Interface, PreOrder Searches or Order Searches group.
Buttons:
Customer Details: This button is available when you select the Configure using GME VC, Order from GME VC or Order from PreOrder option button in the C21 Web Interface group. It displays a blank Enter Customer Details form.
Launch browser:
When the Confirmed Order Update option button is selected and a vehicle number is entered, opens a new browser or the existing OWB interface browser and navigates to the update order interface.
When the Locate Vehicle option button is selected and a reference number or pre-order ID entered, launches a browser, or reuses the existing one, and displays the vehicle locator utility.
When the Inquire Vehicle option button is selected and a Vehicle Number, VIN or Order number is entered, navigates a web browser to an order summary page providing details of the progress of a vehicle.
When the Order from Preorder option button is selected and a Reference number or Pre-Order ID entered, navigates a web browser to the interface that allows amendment of certain details of a confirmed order.
When the Manage Existing Orders option button is selected launches a browser, or reuses the existing one, and navigates the web browser to the manage existing orders web page.
Search OWB: Displays the results of a search in the Retrieved Data tab.
