Locating Customer Details

You can retrieve customer details for a vehicle from the CRM Customer record.

To retrieve customer details:

  1. Select Franchise > Vehicle Interface Selection on the menu bar of the Vehicle Administration form.

    The Autoline Order Workbench Interface form is displayed.

  2. Log in to Channel-21TM.

    The Autoline Order Workbench Interface form is displayed, with the Action tab available, confirming a successful login.

  3. Select the Action tab and then select the Configure using GME VC, Order from GME VC or Order from PreOrder option button, as required, from the C21 Web Interface group.

    The Customer Details button becomes available.

  4. Click Customer Details.

    The Enter Customer Details form is displayed.

  5. Enter the surname of the customer you are locating in the Second name field and press TAB.

    A list of CRM target matches is displayed.

  6. Highlight the required record and click OK.

    You are returned to the Enter Customer Details form, populated with the customer details from the CRM Customer record.

  7. Click OK.

    The customer details are stored against the currently selected vehicle.

Enter Customer Details Form

This form is displayed when you click Customer Details on the Action tab of the Autoline Order Workbench Interface form. It enables you to retrieve customer details for a vehicle from the CRM Customer record.

Customer Details:

Second name: Surname of the customer.

Title: Title of the customer (Mr, Mrs and so on).

First Name: Forename of the customer.

Address line: First line of the address of the customer.

City: City recorded as part of the address of the customer.

Post Code: Postcode recorded as part of the address of the customer.

Sales Person Code: Code for the Sales Executive, taken from the CRM record.

Button:

OK: Stores the customer details against the currently selected vehicle.
