You can use Vauxhall Aftersales Workbench Administrator to manage generic jobs (jobs that are not tied to one vehicle or a group of vehicles, such as MOT).
To manage generic jobs:
From the GENERAL MOTORS OPERATIONS menu, select the GM Workbench Administrator option and the Point-of-Sale company name if you are prompted for one.
The Vauxhall Aftersales Workbench Administrator form is displayed.
Select Tools > Generic jobs on the form's menu bar.
The Generic Jobs form is displayed.
This form is displayed when you select Tools > Generic jobs on the menu bar of the Vauxhall Aftersales Workbench Administrator form. It enables you to view, add, amend or delete generic jobs.
Grid:
Menu code: Menu code for the generic job.
Description: Identifies a generic job.
Rate code: Rate at which the generic job is priced.
VAT code: Identifies the rate of VAT added to the nett price for the generic job.
Price: Nett price for the generic job.
Grid right-click menu:
Add: Displays a blank Edit Generic Job form, enabling you to add a new generic job. If there are no existing generic jobs you can use 210108700001 for the Menu code. The Price field can be left at 0.00, or if you complete it the generic job will be priced with this value. This is the nett price so VAT will be added to the price at the selected VAT code. The job will be priced at the rate selected in Rate code. Click OK and the new generic job is added to the list. If in Point-of-Sale you create a new WIP, add a Vauxhall vehicle and launch GM menu pricing, the newly-added generic job is added to the Selected menus queue, appropriately priced.
Amend: Displays an Edit Generic Job form, enabling you to amend the details for the selected generic job. Click OK to save your changes.
Delete: Enables you to delete the selected generic job.
