When you generate a stock order in Purchase Control, the first time Autoline encounters a RIM part, it prompts you to select whether to include or exclude RIM parts from that and from subsequent stock orders.
To include or exclude RIM parts from a stock order:
This procedure is invoked automatically, in that Autoline prompts you for input when you generate a stock order in Purchase Control.
Note: You only see the GM RIM dialog box if RIM parts are going to be added.
Follow the procedure for generating a stock order in Purchase Control till you have clicked Process on the Generate Stock Order form.
The GM RIM dialog box is displayed, with the message:
Do you wish to include GM RIM parts in your stock order?
Click Include to include RIM parts in the stock order, or click Exclude to exclude them.
You are returned to the Generate Stock Order form. Its progress bar indicates the running of the job until the stock order is displayed, printed, or generated (as specified on the Generate Stock Order form) with RIM parts included or excluded as required.
This dialog box is displayed when you click Process on the Generate Stock Order form. It enables you to include, or exclude, RIM parts in your stock order.
Note: You only see the dialog box if RIM parts are going to be added.
The box contains the message:
Do you wish to include GM RIM parts in your stock order?
Buttons:
Include: Includes RIM parts in the stock order
Exclude: Does not include RIM parts in the stock order
