You can map OEM VAT codes to Autoline's equivalent code. Unknown codes are mapped automatically when you first run the payment application, but you can make changes and correct errors.
Warning: It is very important that the VAT mapping is correct in order to ensure that the VAT payments are correct on all claims.
To display and amend VAT code mapping:
On the Flags tab of the Financial Parameters form click the VAT mapping button.
The OEM VAT Code Mapping form is displayed.
Make any changes you require and click OK.
You are returned to the Flags tab of the Financial Parameters form.
This form enables you to display, edit, add and delete OEM VAT codes.
Note: Each main dealer has its own set of codes.
VAT code mapping grid:
Dealer code: Identifies a dealer code.
OEM VAT code: Identifies an OEM VAT code.
Autoline VAT code: Autoline VAT code mapped to the OEM VAT code in the same line. Clicking an entry in this column displays an ellipsis button, and clicking the ellipsis button shows the current mapping, which you can amend if required.
Grid right-click menu:
Add code: Enables you to map a new OEM code to an Autoline VAT code.
Edit VAT code: Enables you to map an existing OEM code to a different Autoline VAT code.
Delete code: Enables you to delete the selected code from the mapping table.
Buttons:
OK: Returns you to the Flags tab of the Financial Parameters form with any VAT code mapping changes you have made saved.
Cancel: Returns you to the Flags tab of the Financial Parameters form with any VAT code mapping changes you have made cancelled.
