This menu is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems > X3 on the Autoline Master Menu then Vehicle multi-currency.
Whether or not a particular menu option is displayed (or related functionality is available), is determined by the following:
The relevance of a menu option (and related functionality) to your market
Access permissions (called priorities)
The setup of your system
Each menu option is assigned a priority when the program is installed. Your Administrator assigns each user a priority. Any menu option whose priority is higher than your own is omitted from the menu. Equally, you might not see a particular menu option because the menu is set up differently from that described in the help. If you think you need access to a menu option described in this help but it does not appear in the actual menu, check with your Administrator.
Multi currency parameters: Enables you to enter the user priority to change the sales- or purchase currency exchange rate on a vehicle stocks record. Enables specification lines to be treated as foreign-currency lines.
SR quote exchange rates: The (X3.MS.vmcqu) table stores the quote magic number, exchange rate, and currency code. Used to calculate the foreign-currency values when accepting a customer order into VSB. Purchasing- and Selling currencies on the Identity Tab are updated from here.
Exchange rates: Auto-creates the vehicle multi-currency exchange-rate table on entry if it does not exist. Used when Add/modify exchange rates or Currency exchange rates in NL have been disabled because Vehicle Multi Currency is installed.
Multi currency housekeeping: Checks data and clears down the additional data involved in Multi currency where core data no longer exists. A parameter determines for how long records are kept in the exchange-rates table, leaving the most recent rate for each currency even if it has gone past the retention period.
Note to System Administrators: For system maintenance and security purposes, the content and function of some programs require an access priority of 9. Information regarding Priority 9 functions is normally restricted. If you require assistance, please contact Autoline Software Support.
Currency purchase parameters: Contains information including Purchase Ledger (PL) account setup for use in processing demonstration-, hire-, or courtesy-car conversions from foreign-currency vehicles.
