Select An Agreement

In CRM you can contact the customer for day-to-day businesses and marketing activities via the Summery tab of the Customer record form, the Company tab of the Company record form and the Customer details tab of the Contact form. After clicking the Telephone, Fax, E-mail or SMS icon a message is displayed querying if this a Marketing activity or not. Click Yes, if applicable, select the Data protection agreement (DPA) required on the Select An Agreement form, to check if the customer agrees to this action. You can use only one DPA for checking the marketing activity. Click No, to check the standard privacy settings to d etermine whether or not communication is permitted.

When using the Letter Writer function a message is displayed querying if this a Marketing activity or not. Click Yes, if applicable, select the Data protection agreement (DPA) required on the Select An Agreement form, to check if the customer agrees to receive the letter. You can use only one DPA for writing a letter. Click No, to check the standard privacy settings to determine whether or not communication is permitted in the Letter Writer. When the Activate location based agreements parameter is selected on the General tab of the Data protection parameters, the Data protection agreements are only check based on the location permitted to the user.

Select An Agreement Form

This form is displayed when the user wants to pursue a marketing activity and the current CRM record contains more then one agreement. Only one agreement is checked per marketing activity.

File > Check		Checks the selected agreement for this CRM record.
File > Close		Returns you to the previous form.

Select An Agreement:

Grid:

Manufacturer: Displays the manufacturer for which this agreement is valid.

Use: Displays if this agreement is used for P - personal (customer) or C - commercial (company).

Data protection agreement: Displays the description of the agreement.

Default: If selected, then the current agreement is used as a default agreement.

Valid to: Displays up to which date the statement is valid.

Note: A statement is valid until it has a Valid to date which is less then today. The statement is valid forever when the Valid to is blank.

Select?: Select or clear the agreement required for checking the permission of the current marketing activity.
