This option functions the same as any Journal Input, and again is dictated by the journal style the user has selected, hence no more explanation is given on the operation of this option.[This example is based on the default journal style] What makes this unique is that not only is it High Priority protected but allows postings into Controlled Accounts, i.e. - Sales, - VAT, - Purchase, - Cars, and also bank accounts.
To access the Control account journal:
From the Autoline master menu select the Nominal Ledger option and the company you require.
Select Miscellaneous options option.
Select the Control account journal option.
The NL Control Account Journal form is displayed.
BUTTONS
Once the journal is complete, you are presented with button options:
Post: Posts the created Journal.
Note: On taking this option you are requested to Confirm Journal Posting, and print daybooks if required.
Exit: Deletes all entries you have made on the Journal and quit to the Miscellaneous menu without saving the Journal.
Restart: Resets all lines in the journal.
