The edit depot requirements program is available to companies set up as a warehouse responsible for the replenishment stock of other depots. This option enables you to edit suggested orders that have been created using the Generate Depot Requirements option.
To access the warehouse options:
From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Purchase Control Module and the Company you require.
The PURCHASE CONTROL Menu is displayed.
Select Warehouse options.
The PC WAREHOUSE OPTIONS Menu is displayed.
Select the Edit depot requirements option, followed by the depot or depots you require.
The Depot Transfer Requirements form is displayed.
This form is displayed when you click PC WAREHOUSE OPTIONS Menu > Edit depot requirements. On selection of this option you are offered a list of available depots for which suggested orders have been produced but not yet processed. Toggle select/deselect the depots whose orders you wish to review and edit, then click OK.
The Depot Transfer requirements form is displayed. The following information displayed.
Part number: Part numbers to be ordered
Description: Part numbers description
Free: Free stock available for each part within the warehouse
Total: Total quantity required to satisfy all the depots listed for each part. For example if the grid displays a suggested order quantity of 10 under depot 02 and a suggested order quantity of 15 under depot 03 the total would read 25 (10 + 15). In this way it is easy to compare the total requirement of all the depots in question with the available free stock in the warehouse. This is particularly useful where the warehouse does not have enough stock to satisfy all depot requirements.
Depot number: The depot number or numbers that have been selected for inclusion are displayed adjacent to one another with the suggested order quantity for each depot displayed under each column.
To edit the quantity required click the quantity cell under the relevant depot number. The New quantity field at the bottom of the grid is populated with the existing quantity which may now be amended as required.
Note: When a part is selected for editing, information relating to Stock quantity and Maximum and Minimum order quantities for the relevant depot are displayed.

Exit: Saves any amendments to quantities and returns you to the PC Warehouse options menu
