The View security logs option allows you to check that a previously taken backup has successfully worked before you proceed to apply a payroll update or before you perform the payroll year end.
To access View security logs:-
The Payroll Password form is displayed.
Enter your payroll password.
The PAYROLL menu is displayed.
Select the System maintenance option.
The PR SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu is displayed.
Select the Upgrade menu option.
The PAYROLL UPGRADE menu is displayed.
Select the View security logs option.
The Backup procedure - ENQUIRY form is displayed.
A dialog box with various options is displayed when you select the View security logs option from the PAYROLL UPGRADE menu. To view the security log for the payroll system:-
Select the Payroll option
Click OK
Select Backup-log and click OK
Select Latest and click OK
Click Close once the log has been shown. Contact the environment software support team if you are shown any error message or unsure if the backup has been completed successfully
Select Exit and click OK
