The UPGRADE menu is displayed when you select the Upgrade menu option from the PAYROLL System maintenance menu.
Check payroll periods: Allows the payroll periods to be viewed as a preparatory check when performing a payroll upgrade.
Backup procedure: This option allows you to take a payroll system backup as required before upgrading your payroll system.
View security logs: This option allows you to check that the payroll system backup has functioned correctly.
Payroll upgrade phase 1: The first main database update phase when applying a payroll upgrade on a payroll system that is not updated overnight as a part of the timed operation process.
Payroll upgrade phase 2: The payroll specific payroll upgrade. This is only used by you or software support if your payroll system is not updated overnight as a part of the timed operation process or an error message has been displayed when entering the payroll module when the system attempts to automatically apply these phase 2 upgrade steps.
Latest changes: This option allows you to access help files recording the recent system changes.
