Deleting a Batch of Letters

This is an update that deletes the contact code generated for a particular letter batch and re-opens any closed contacts.

No printout is produced.

To delete a batch of letters:

  1. From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the CRM option and the Company required.

    The CRM menu is displayed.

  2. Select the System maintenance option.

    The CRM SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu is displayed.

  3. Select the Delete a batch of letters option.

    The Reset batch of letters (MK) form is displayed.

  4. Complete the form and click OK.

    A report status is displayed confirming that the update has taken place.

  5. Click Close.

    You are returned to the Reset batch of letters form.

  6. Click Cancel.

    You are returned to the CRM SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu.

Reset Batch of Letters (MK) Form

This form is displayed when you select the Delete a batch of letters option from the CRM SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu.

Batch to be deleted: Batch number to be deleted

Enter date of batch: Date of the batch of letters. This can be left blank.

Tip: The batch number can be ascertained using the Find last batch for a letter report option.

PUSH BUTTONS:

OK: Runs the update

Cancel: Returns you to the CRM SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu

Help: Displays help on the current program using the default browser

Schedule: Displays the Timed Operations scheduler

Add to batch: Displays an Add report to batch form in which a report may be batched for printing in a report group
