Labour Sales by Mechanic

This report is used to check the value reported in the row 28 of the extract, Number of operators. In the report output figures are sub-totalled for each mechanic entered to the Point-of-Sale Labour Details form when invoicing work carried out by the Minute department.

To run the Labour Sales by Mechanic report:

  1. From the RENAULT OPERATIONS menu, select the Renault Minute Reporting menu option.

    The MINUTE REPORTING MENU is displayed.

  2. Select the REx Labour Sales by Mechanic option followed by the SO company if required.

    The Labour Sales by Mechanic form is displayed.

  3. Complete the form and click OK.

    The report is output in the specified format.

REx: Labour Sales by Mechanic Form

This form is displayed when you select the REx Labour Sales by Mechanic option from the MINUTE REPORTING MENU. It enables you to check the value reported in the row 28 of the extract, Number of operators.

Output type: Enables you to specify the format in which the report is produced. One of:

Start date BLANK=Start Month: Date for the report to start at, or blank to start at the beginning of the current month

Finish date BLANK=End Month: Date for the report to finish at, or blank to finish at the end of the current month

Minute Department code: Code letter used in Point-of-Sale for Renault Minute

Multi Mechanics? BLANK=No: When costing labour items in Service Point-of-Sale you can indicate that more than one mechanic (operator) carried out the repair. In these circumstances up to six mechanic codes and times may be entered. Select (tick) this field to report only upon labour lines where this applies, or leave the field blank to report these lines as a single total amount only.

Labour only? BLANK=No: Select (tick) to report only items where the labour rate code used indicates that labour or MOT sales were being invoiced, or blank to include all items.

Exceptions BLANK=NONE: Up to five labour rate codes, or blank for no exceptions. The report determines whether an item is Labour or MOT by applying the following conventions to labour rate codes:

Values where the labour rate code used matches one of the letters in the Exceptions field are treated as other sales and are included in the report only if the Labour only? field is left blank or set to N.

Tip:To check the value in the extract, count the number of unique entries below the Mech column in the output, excluding the special cases of zero and 9999.

OK: Runs the report

Cancel: Returns you to the MINUTE REPORTING MENU

Help: Displays this page in the default browser

Schedule: Displays the Timed Operations scheduler. This button is not enabled when the output type is set to Display.

Add to batch: Displays an Add report to batch form in which a report may be batched for printing in a report group. This button is not enabled when the output type is set to Display.
