This menu is displayed when you select the Manufacturer systems module and RE. Renault company on the Autoline master menu.
Access permissions, called priorities, determine whether a particular menu option is displayed. Each menu option is assigned a priority when the program is installed. Your administrator assigns each user a priority. Any menu option whose priority is higher than your own is omitted from the menu. If you think you need access to a menu option described in this help but it does not appear in the actual menu, check with your administrator.
PGCS menu: Warranty system that maintains claim records created in Point-of-Sale and submits them to Renault.
Parts price file menu: Uploads and maintains master price and supersession files, updates the stock file from the price file, builds a supersession chain from the master price file, analyses discount codes in the price file not found in the Point-of-Sale (POS) discount map, and sets up automatic price file updates if required.
Advice note upload: Uploads and converts the manufacturer's advice file, displays and prints advice data, links the data to Purchase Control and produces exception reports.
Customer satisfaction export: Generates a CSI extract.
Trade partners/promotion codes: Captures Trade Partner transactions, downloads the transaction file to floppy disk and maintains promotion code discounts.
DCS file transfer utilities: Submits files direct to Renault. This is used to transmit stock order and warranty claim files.
Rapid quote: Sets up and maintains your menu pricing software, uploads and converts Rapid Quote data on the Autoline system, displays and prints menus, creates and maintains fixed prices and discounts, makes additional items available to menus, and displays file usage statistics.
Labour code menu: Renault labour operation codes data is supplied direct to dealers so that they can upload it to the Dealer Management System and convert it locally rather than rely on a data supply from ADP Dealer Services UK Ltd. To achieve this the Renault LTS codes program requires the addition of the conversion routines so that dealers can update the data directly.
Renault Minute Reporting menu: Sales reporting tool that reports all sales of parts and labour through the Renault Minute department for up to twelve consecutive months. The export creates a file in comma-separated values (CSV) format that is then downloaded to the client computer and opened in an Excel spreadsheet for final adjustments to be made.
General utilities: Gives you access to the standard MS Utilities, including system maintenance options such as Report Generator and Ad-hoc enquiries.
Download stock order to PC: Downloads stock order files generated in Purchase Control to your computer ready for transfer to Renault.
Dialogys: Provides integration between Dialogys - a Parts and Service technical information service provided by Renault - and Autoline's Point-of-Sale module. The interface allows a technician or parts user in a Renault dealership to retrieve vehicle information electronically from Autoline. It facilitates the identification and selection of parts from Dialogys and the subsequent transfer of parts back to a repair order (Work-In-Progress) in Autoline.
Recall campaigns menu: Updates campaign data, displays and maintains campaigns.
