Example ascii export (PR/rgK27)

The example ascii export report is provided for software supplier users to act as a template for setting up customer specific export reports.

To use the example ascii export report

  1. From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Payroll option and Company you require.

    The Payroll Password form is displayed.

  2. Enter your payroll password.

    The PAYROLL menu is displayed.

  3. Select the Reports & enquiries option.

    The PR REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu is displayed.

  4. Select the Example ascii export option.

    The Example ascii export form is displayed.

  5. Click OK to the period information form.

  6. Click OK.

  7. A report status is displayed and the report is exported to a location defined by the paybx export record. Use the System Utilities, Management menu, Export facilities option to define the paybx or other named export record.

  8. Click Close to return to the PR REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu.


Example ascii export form

The example ascii export form is displayed when you select the Example ascii export option from the PR REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu.

Prompts

There are no prompts.

Click OK followed by Close once the report status is shown.

Output type

The report is only exported to a location defined by the paybx export record.

Output content

The following fields are output:-

Surname

Employee number

Payment sort code

Payment account number

Payment account type

Period net pay amount

Sort sequence

Employee number

Selection

Payroll records are included when the following conditions are met:-

PUSH BUTTONS:

OK: Prints the report to the currently selected printer.

Cancel: Returns you to the PR REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu.

Help: Displays help on the current application in your default company browser.

Schedule: Displays the Timed Operations Scheduler.

Add to batch: Displays an Add report to batch form in which a report may be batched for printing in a report group.
