This report shows all parts at backorder status against a WIP in Point-of-Sale (POS), and where there is sufficient quantity in stock to fulfill all or part of the backorder.
By default the report is displayed. When the report is run, you are given the option to report on a specific customer account or part number, and asked if you want to sort the report by part number or customer. You also have the option to print it or output it to an HTML directory.
For each part number or customer, the following details are summarised on the report:

Backorder quantity for this customer
Order status:
I: INTER DEALER
P: ISSUE (awaiting picking)
R: RESERVE
S: STOCK BACK ORDER
V: VOR BACK ORDER
Date on which the backorder was created

WIP number
Customer account code
Customer name
To produce a backorder clearance report:
From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Stock management option and Company you require.
The STOCK MANAGEMENT menu is displayed.
Select the Reports and enquiries option.
The SM REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu is displayed.
Select the Backorder clearance option.
The Customer B/O Available form is displayed.
The report is compiled and output in the selected format.
This form is displayed when you select the Backorder clearance option from the SM REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu. From this form you can produce a Backorder Clearance report.
Output type: Enables you to specify the format in which the report is produced. One of:
Print: Prints the report to the currently selected printer
HTML: Outputs the report to file in Hyper-Text Markup Language (HTML) format
Display: Displays the report (default)
Customer Account: Sales Ledger account number, or blank to include parts on backorder status for all customer accounts
Part Number: Part number on the stock file, or blank to include all parts at backorder status
RADIO BUTTONS:
Sort by part number: Sorts the records in part number order
Sort by customer: Sorts the records in customer name order
PUSH BUTTONS:
OK: Outputs the report in the selected format
Cancel: Returns you to the SM REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu
Help: Displays help on the current program using the default browser
Schedule: Displays the Timed Operations scheduler. This button is not enabled when the output type is set to Display.
Add to batch: Displays an Add report to batch form in which a report may be batched for printing in a report group. This button is not enabled when the output type is set to Display.
