Sales Backorder Listing Report

This report lists all parts at order status in Point-of-Sale (POS) and the aged value of parts. Records are sequenced by customer account code/WIP number/line number. When you run the report, you are prompted for a cut-off date. The report includes all parts at order status up to and including the date that you enter.

By default the report is output to an HTML directory. However, when the report is run, you are also given the option to print or display the report.

For each customer, the following details are summarised on the report:

To produce a sales backorder listing:

Note: A suitable browser is required for the default HTML output.

  1. From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Stock management option and Company you require.

    The STOCK MANAGEMENT menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Reports and enquiries option.

    The SM REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu is displayed.

  3. Select the Sales B/o listing option.

    The Backorder List (SM) form is displayed.

  4. Complete the form and click OK.

    A report status is displayed, and the report is compiled and output in the selected format.

  5. Click the Close button.

    You are returned to the SM REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu.

Backorder List (SM) Form

This form is displayed when you select the Sales B/o listing option from the SM REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu. From this form you can produce a Sales Backorder Listing.

Output type: Enables you to specify the format in which the report is produced. One of:

Cut-off date: Cut-off date for parts at order status in POS that you want to report on, or blank to include all parts at order status.

PUSH BUTTONS:

OK: Outputs the report in the selected format

Cancel: Returns you to the SM REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu

Help: Displays help on the current program using the default browser

Schedule: Displays the Timed Operations scheduler. This button is not enabled when the output type is set to Display.

Add to batch: Displays an Add report to batch form in which a report may be batched for printing in a report group. This button is not enabled when the output type is set to Display.
