This report runs through the Sales Ledger transaction file. Only transactions generated from the Point-of-Sale module are included in the report. When you run the report, you are prompted for a date range, categories to include and account types to exclude. Transactions without an account type are also included in the report.
By default the report is displayed, and is sorted by account code/posting date. When the report is run, you are also given the option to print the report or output the report to an HTML directory.
For each account, the following details are summarised on the report:
Miscellaneous reference
WIP number
Invoice number
Account type
Account category code
Invoice value
VAT value
Amount paid
Any discount given
Nominal Ledger control account from the Sales Ledger account
Customer name and customer reference from the invoice
To produce an SL POS Debts report:
From the Master Menu, select the Point of sale option and the Company you require.
The POINT OF SALE menu is displayed.
Select the Reports & enquiries option.
The SO REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu is displayed.
Select the SL POS Debts option.
The SL POS Debts form is displayed.
Complete the form and click OK.
The report is compiled and output in the selected format.
This form is displayed when you select the SL POS Debts option from the SO REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu. From this form you can produce a report of Sales Ledger Point-of-Sale debts.
Output type: Enables you to specify the format in which the report is produced. One of:
Print: Prints the report to the currently selected printer
HTML: Outputs the report to file in Hyper-Text Markup Language (HTML) format
- Display: Displays the report (default)
Start Date: First Sales Ledger invoice posting date in the range
End Date: Last Sales Ledger posting date in the range
Categories to include: Sales Ledger account categories to include
Account Types to exclude: Sales Ledger account types to exclude (default WV)
PUSH BUTTONS:
OK: Outputs the report in the selected format
Cancel: Returns you to the SO REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu
Help: Displays help on the current program using the default browser
Schedule: Displays the Timed Operations scheduler. This button is not enabled when the output type is set to Display.
Add to batch: Displays an Add report to batch form in which a report may be batched for printing in a report group. This button is not enabled when the output type is set to Display.
