Parts Analysis Report

This report runs through the Point-of-Sale parts log file giving parts sales values. Only items with an invoice status equal to either X or C are selected. Other than this, the prompts are adhered to when selecting records.

By default the report is displayed, and the sort order is determined by prompts, which is either by Dept/Fran/Sale Type or Saletype/Dept/Fran. When the report is run, you are also given the option to print the report or output the report to an HTML directory.

The following details are summarised on the report:

To produce a parts analysis report:

  1. From the Master Menu, select the Point of sale option and the Company you require.

    The POINT OF SALE menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Reports & enquiries option.

    The SO REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu is displayed.

  3. Select the Parts Analysis option.

    The Parts Sales Analysis KUJ form is displayed.

  4. Complete the form and click OK.

    The report is compiled and output in the selected format.

Parts Sales Analysis KUJ (SO) Form

This form is displayed when you select the Parts analysis option from the SO REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu. From this form you can produce a sales analysis report.

Output type: Enables you to specify the format in which the report is produced. One of:

Enter starting date:: First invoice WIP date in the range

Enter finishing date: Last invoice WIP date in the range

Enter Department: Single-character department code

Enter Franchise: Single-character franchise code

Enter Product Group: Parts product group code

Enter Sale Types required: Sale type. For example:

<S>ale or <P>urchase: S (sales) or P (purchases). The default is S.

RADIO BUTTONS:

Totals Only?: Ticked to produce a totals-only report (ticked by default)

PUSH BUTTONS:

OK: Outputs the report in the selected format

Cancel: Returns you to the SO REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu

Help: Displays help on the current program using the default browser

Schedule: Displays the Timed Operations scheduler. This button is not enabled when the output type is set to Display.

Add to batch: Displays an Add report to batch form in which a report may be batched for printing in a report group. This button is not enabled when the output type is set to Display.
