Warning: It is recommended that you do not run this option until you want to carry out a stock check.
The Free check file option simply initialises the stock-check file in preparation for the next stock check, so far as the current stock location is concerned. It should therefore only be run after a successful update has been completed and the check-file is no longer required for auditing purposes.
To free the check file:
Warning: After the Free check file option is run, you cannot re-instate the old stock check list because it is permanently deleted.
From the Master Menu, select the Stock checking option and the Company you require.
You are prompted for the stock location.
Select the Stock Location.
The STOCK CHECKING menu is displayed.
Select the Free check file option.
The Free check file form is displayed.
Click the Yes button.
The Free Check File form is displayed when the Free check file option is selected from the STOCK CHECKING menu.
The location to which the current check file relates is displayed together with the message Do you want to free the current stock check file?
PUSH BUTTONS:
Yes: Initialises the stock-check file in preparation for the next stock check and returns you to the STOCK CHECKING menu
Cancel: Returns you to the STOCK CHECKING menu
Help: Displays help on the current application in your default company browser
