DETAIL BUTTON

By clicking the Detail button, you can examine two tabs of account details for the selected transaction.

These tabs include further information about the transaction that has not been displayed on the row detail within the Transaction grid. Available detail includes all of the possible selection field detail, the Daybook number and Daybook item, the Last payment date and Last payment Daybook number, the discount information and Document Archive ID. This information is found on the Details-1 and Details-2 tabs

On details 1 you can also change the 'Due Date' of a document this is done by using the Edit and Save buttons.

Click on the Edit button to enable editing the Due Date field.

Click on the Save button to save the amendments.

Click on the Undo button to cancel any amendments.

Click the Close button to return to the Transactions tab.

On details 2 you can also raise a problem report against the transaction. Click the Edit button in the Problem reporting area of the form and this will enable all the fields to raise a problem report.

Code: Click the DropDown.gif button to select a code for your problem.

Note: These codes are held in a file that is not compulsory on your system. If this file does not exist you can use single character codes of your own choice as long as the user knows what each code means.

Reference: Enter a reference of your choice to identify the problem.

Date raised: Enter the date the problem first occurred.

Comment: Enter any comments you wish to record about the problem.

Sent to: Enter the user ID of the person within your organisation to which you have reported the problem.

Follow up date: Enter date on which you intend to check on the progress of this problem.

Save Button: When you have completed you problem report click the save button to save the record.

Cancel Button: If you have started to raise a problem report and do not want to complete it then click the cancel button which will disable all the fields and enable the Edit Button for you to start again.

Click the Close button to return to the Transactions tab.

DOCUMENT BUTTON

If the Document button is enabled you have the ability to retrieve the Document Archive Image and Output the image in four different ways.

ALLOCATIONS BUTTON

If the Allocations button is enabled you have the ability to display all of the payment records relative to the transaction selected. Click on the Allocations button and the payment records will be displayed in a grid. Click on one of the rows in the grid and if there is an archived document image attached to the record then the Document button will become enabled. Right click on the selected allocation and you are able to Drill into the Nominal transaction files to see the detail of the postings made in the Nominal Ledger.

NL TRANS BUTTON

If the NL Trans button is enabled you have the ability to Drill into the Nominal transaction files to see the detail of the postings made in the Nominal Ledger.

DEPOSIT BUTTON

If the Deposit button is enabled you have the ability to display the detail of a deposit from which the selected transaction has been posted. On the Deposit magic form you can return to the transactions grid by clicking the Close button. Also from this form you can retrieve the archived document image if attached to the record. Click Document button to perform this function.
