The Quickmail button on the Display Stock Card form allows you to format an electronic mail message with details of the part number pre-filled into the message. For example, a message that relates to stock details is pre-filled with the part number, description, bin location, retail price and cost price as standard, although this layout is actually controlled by a format stationery layout, code KQM. You can format your own layouts by having the KQM copied to a user-definable alternative kQM. All you have to do is determine who to send the message to, and add any specific comments before sending it off. This option greatly helps with the communication of problem details in real-time and without the need for paper.
