When parts are decarded from stock, advice notes can be exported. When an export is performed, an advice note is created in XML format. The advice note is sent electronically to the dealer via a Timed Operation and uploaded to the Dealer Management System (DMS) via the Receive inter-system advice option on the PURCHASE CONTROL menu. The advice note export is normally performed by a Timed Operation. However, in the event of problem, the export can be performed manually.
Note: To decard parts from stock, it is recommended that the Confirm picking notes option is used in preference to the Advice notes option in the Batch print documents program. Within the Confirm picking note option you can specify the exact number of parts picked from the warehouse, whereas the Batch print documents option assumes that all parts are in stock.

The SO CUSTOMER ORDER IMPORTS menu is displayed.

The advice notes are exported and, on completion, you are returned to the SO CUSTOMER ORDER IMPORTS menu.
