Define stock profile bands is accessed via the Showroom > Miscellaneous Options > Stock Profiling menu and is used to create and maintain Stock Profiling Bands. A Band is a price or age used with a period to create a Profile. A Period can be user defined or created on a weekly or monthly basis. For example; The Month of October 2008 or Week 44 of year 2008.
Menu:
Menu Icon Description File > Exit Returns you the previous screen. Help > Help Displays this help page. Alternatively, press F1. Location: When the drop down is selected, all locations available to the user and SR Salesperson settings are available for individual selection.
Code: The unique code/band allocated per location when a band is first created. These bands cannot be amended.
Type: When creating a new Band, select from the two radio buttons to choose the required type.
Price: A minimum and maximum for this band. Age: The number of days used to age the vehicle. Minimum value: Enter a minimum value greater than 0.00 if using the Price Type or a quantity greater than 0 for the Age Type.
Maximum value: Enter a maximum value greater than the Minimum Value if using the Price Type or a quantity more than the Minimum Value for the Age Type.
Show all bands: Select this check box to show all periods.
Grid:
The created Bands are displayed in the grid. Select one to enable the buttons and select the required action. For example; Amend. The grid displays the following columns.
Location: The location selected for this Band.
Band: A unique reference allocated on creation. Also know as Code.
Description: The description of the Band. For example Price or Days dependant on what which Type was selected when the Band was created.
Minimum value: The minimum value or amount entered when creating the band. Dependant on what which Type was selected Period Type.
Maximum value: The maximum value or amount entered when creating the band. Dependant on what which Type was selected.
Buttons:
Button Icon Description Cancel Cancel any work already entered. Save Saves entered information. New ![]()
Create a new entry. Amend Amend a selected entry. Copy Copy a selected entry so it can be changed and saved as a new record. Delete ![]()
Delete a selected entry.
