Defining Stock Profiles

Define stock profiles is accessed via the Showroom, Miscellaneous Options, Stock Profiling menu and is used to create and maintain Stock Profiles. A Profile is the combination of a Period, Band and Vehicle information. The combined information is generated to create Historical Data that can be viewed in a Showroom Trade-in vehicle. The data in the Profile display Historical Data and Current requirements base on the Periods and Bands previously created and linked to the profile.

VSB Company: The Vehicle Stockbook Company related to this profile.

Location: When the drop down is selected, all locations available to the user and SR Salesperson settings are available for individual selection.

Period: Selected Period for this profile.

Franchise: Selected Franchise for this profile.

Model: Selected Model for this profile.

Sub model: Selected Sub model for this profile.

Variant: Selected Variant for this profile.

Model analysis code: Selected Analysis code for this profile.

Note: When creating or amending a profile use the drop down to select the relevant entry from the results displayed.

Number of vehicles: The maximum number of vehicles for this profile.

Show all bands: Click on this tick box to show all periods.

Grid:

The created profiles are displayed in the grid in the same order as the above columns. Select one to enable the buttons and select the required action. For example Amend. .

Buttons:

Cancel Cancel Cancel any work already entered.
Save SaveSaves entered information.
New Add Create a new entry.
Amend Amend Amend a selected entry.
Copy Copy Copy a selected entry so it can be changed and saved as a new record.
Delete Delete Delete a selected entry.
