Broadcasting a Message

The Broadcast Message form enables you to make an announcement such as, The printer is being repaired at 2:00pm today. The message is displayed in the Broadcast box at the top of all menus of each module until it is changed or set back to blank.

Broadcast Message Form

The Broadcast Message form is displayed when you click System Utilities > MANAGEMENT MENU > Broadcast message.

Group boxes

Message: Type the message (up to 50 characters) that you want to broadcast to all users.

Output: Select one of the following:

• Menu Banner
• Selected Users
• Everyone

Buttons:

OK: Saves any changes that you have made to the Message field and returns you to the SU MANAGEMENT MENU.

Cancel: Returns you to the SU MANAGEMENT MENU without saving any changes.
