Activity Actual Tab

The Activity form is displayed when you click the Activity button in the Here and Now group on the Workshop Launch Control form. The form is updated in real time in line with the Seconds to refresh parameter in the WL System Parameters. The Actual form will show a true and accurate reflection of the workshop activity for the day, displaying what jobs are in progress and who is working on them.

Exit: Returns you to POS

Numbers: Displays the Numbers form

Reports (If installed): Displays up to five Point-of-Sale (SO) reports which can be run from here

Help: Displays help on the current application using the default browser

Status Filters (If installed)

Allows the user to filter the Activity form using the status buttons on the Actual tab

Colours

Description

No - show - The vehicle has not been checked in.

Waiting - The Technician is clocked onto an Idle time code. The vehicle has been checked in and is awaiting Labour.

Stopped - The task(s) for this vehicle have been stopped awaiting Labour, Parts, Authority or Others.

In - progress - The task(s) for this vehicle are in progress with the Technician shown in the Technician column.

Completed - The task has been completed but has not yet been invoiced.

Warning - Indicates a task has gone over the Allowed time or where the task is over lapping the next task assigned to the technician.

Note: Selecting the Show all box has the effect of resetting the filters.

Time: Shows the times according to the Start and End hours from the WL System parameters. Indicates the time to the nearest 15 minutes in the Time rows in green.

Technician: The technician names are colour coded in line with their current status.

Click a technician name to display a detailed list of all clocking activity by that resource for that day. Right-click a technician name to display the Technicians Activity form to clock on or off a task.

Activity grid

Right-click the first sector of a task to display a pop-up menu:

  1. View WIP: Displays the Loading details form

  2. Goto WIP: Displays the main POS form for that WIP

  3. Clockings: Displays all clocked activity on a WIP

Note: A WL System Parameters called Mark overlapped jobs, when set, will indicate to the user when a task has overlapped by showing the character from the parameter, and populate the cells of the task as it progresses.

With Title column

Indicates the technicians who are assisting

Shifts (If installed)

Select the required shift from the drop-down menu

Teams (If installed)

Select the required team from the drop-down menu

Note: This will depend on what you have set in the Teams field in your Operator details. If it is set to blank then All teams will be available. If it is set to one team then that team will be defaulted in and you will get the option to view all the teams. If you have more than one team then the default will be All my teams with the option to view all the teams or each individual team.

PUSH BUTTONS

Refresh: Recompiles the list of Activity records
