All the technicians will need to be clocked off from their previous task, which will then allow them to be clocked on to one of the other available tasks that are scheduled for them.
To clock a technician on to a job as a controller:
Click the button.
Tip: Alternatively, select the Load option from the Workshop menu.
The Workshop Launch Control form is displayed.
Click the Technicians button.
The Technicians form is displayed.
Position the cursor over the line that you want to select and double-click the left mouse button.
Tip: Alternatively, click the Clock button.
The Technician Activity form is displayed and a list of tasks is displayed in the Jobs grid.
Select a Job from the Jobs grid and select a task in the Tasks group box.
Tip: Clicking on the Description column will select and de-select all the tasks in the tasks grid
Click the Clock ON button to start the technician on to the selected job/lines.
The Technicians form is displayed when you click the Technicians button in the Here and Now group on the Workshop Launch Control form.

Status @ [time]:
This area provides clarification of the grid colourisation and enables the sorting of the information based upon the colour / status.
Show all: Enables all WIPs to be shown in the jobs grid
Progress Status Colour Buttons:
Out: The Technician is clocked onto an Idle time code.
Idle: The Technician is clocked onto an Idle time code.
Active: The Technician is currently clocked onto a task.
Warning: The Technician has an assigned task that is within the warning period defined by the Warning before required time Workshop Loading System parameter.
Note: The above Progress Status Colour Buttons can be used to filter the displayed information by clicking the individual progress status code button. For example clicking the blue Active button displays all technicians currently working on a job. The default view of all activities may be restored at any time by checking the Show all check box adjacent to these buttons.
Buttons:
Refresh: Allows you to refresh the grid.
Clock: Opens the Technician Activity form or End Activity form as appropriate to the selected Technician.
View WIP: Opens the required WIP in the Loading details form.
Technician Grid
Name: The technician name. If you hover over a technicians name a tool tip is displayed showing both the description and code for the selected technician.
Status: The current status of the technician (Idle, active, signed out).
Scheduled time (if installed): If a technician clocks on to a job earlier than it has been loaded in for, the Scheduled time column will be highlighted in Red and display the scheduled start time for that job. It will remain Red until he clocks off that job.
Note: If the technician has clocked off and back on to the WIP after the scheduled time, the scheduled time column will be displayed in Blue with no scheduled start time as per normal.
Clocked On: The Time and Date when the technician clocked On to the task shown in the Task column.
Task: The task (displayed as WIP number followed by Line number) or Idle time code that the technician has been clocked onto. Where the technician is working on multiple lines from one WIP this will be displayed as the WIP number followed by an * (asterisk).
Customer: The name of the customer whose vehicle the Technician is working on.
With: Displays the technician's who are assisting.
Shifts Area
Select the required shift from the drop down button.
Teams Area
Select the required team from the drop down button.
Note: This will depend on what you have set in the Teams field in your Operator details, if it is set to blank then All teams will be available, if it is set to one team then that team will be defaulted in and you will get the option to view all the teams, if you have more than one team then the default will be All my teams with the option to view all the teams or each individual team.
Bulk clocking
These buttons may be used to Suspend or Resume all Technicians in one operation. An example of usage might be to stop and then restart recording time either side of a break in the shift, for instance Lunch time.
Buttons:
Suspend: Opens the Bulk Clocking - Suspend Current Activity form.
Resume: Opens the Resume previous activity form.
Lunch: Allows the user to clock all technicians off to the Lunch idle code. To use the Lunch idle code functionality setup will be required within Workshop loading system parameters.
Note: The recording of the clocking tolerances are held in the Workshop loading Time management report.
