Technician Activity Form

This form is displayed when you select a task from the Technicians form, and double-click it. From this form you can view details about the technician activity.

Tip: Alternatively, highlight the Technician and click the Clock button.

Current Activity

Displays the current status for the Technician.

Note: When this form is accessed from the End Activity form, the technician will show as Clocked out until you select a further Task or Idle code and then click the Clock ON button.

Buttons:

Lunch: Allow the technician to clock off directly to this Lunch idle code.

Clock OFF: Sets the current technician to Clocked Off status.

Status

This area provides clarification of the grid colourisation and enables the sorting of the information based upon the colour / status.

Show all: Enables all WIPs to be shown in the jobs grid

Progress Status Colour Buttons:

Assignment: Indicates there are WIP's with task(s) that may be completed by the selected technician where the WIP / tasks has already been assigned.

Available: Indicates there are WIP's with task(s) that are available to be assigned.

Assist: Indicates that there are WIP's / tasks assigned to other technicians, but because of the current technicians skill he is able to assist the current assigned technician.

Idle: Identifies the WIPS that are currently at a status of idle.

Note: The above Progress Status Colour Buttons can be used to filter the displayed information by clicking the individual progress status code button. For example clicking the blue Active button displays all technicians currently working on a job. The default view of all activities may be restored at any time by checking the

Selected Status

Selected: When a line is Selected in the tasks grid it is displayed in dark blue.

Not selected: When a line is Not Selected in the tasks grid it is displayed in white.

Jobs Grid

Others: When Un-checked, displays assigned tasks to the technician, unassigned tasks where the technician has the skill and all active tasks. When checked, you can see all other tasks assigned to other technicians which you will be able to clock onto.

Job: The WIP number for the available tasks

Note: If more than one department exists on the users terminal details then the department letter is displayed in front of the WIP number.

Customer: The vehicle registration number and customer number

Colleague: Where multiple Technicians are working on the task(s) the name of the Technician or Technicians will be shown

Tasks Grid

This area displays a list of the tasks within the selected Job Grid WIP.

Line: The line number from the selected WIP

Description: The first line of description from the RTS code text

Skill: The skill required for the task

Allowed: The time allowed for the task

Start: The start time for an Assigned task

End: The time an Assigned task is expected to finish based on the start time and the efficiency of the allocated technician

PUSH BUTTONS:

Quit: Returns you to the Technicians Form
