To clock a technician off a job as a controller, the Load button within POS can be used in a similar way to clocking technicians on.
To clock a technician off a job as a controller:
Tip: Alternatively, select the Load option from the Workshop menu.
The Workshop Launch Control form is displayed.
The Technicians form is displayed.
A list of tasks on the WIP is displayed.
Note: The system will default the form to suggest that the technician has Completed all of the lines that they clocked on to and the controller will be able to change this if needed to one of the other statuses if required.
Tasks on job:
Only technician: The Technician was clocked onto this task so it must be marked as either Complete or stopped awaiting Labour, Parts, Authority or Others.
In with other technicians: The Technician is clocking off, but other Technician(s) are still working on the task.
Other technician IN: Other technicians have clocked on to the same task.
No technician IN: The Technician was not clocked onto this line but it may be marked as either Complete or stopped awaiting Labour, Parts, Authority or Others.
Task Grid:
Line: The line number for this Task.
Description: The first line of the RTS code text for this line.
More work: Tick this column to mark the task as awaiting further Labour.
Parts: Tick this column to mark the task as awaiting further Parts.
Authority: Tick this column to mark the task as awaiting Authority for further work.
Complete: Tick this column to mark the task as Complete.
No Work: This column will be ticked when the technician clocks off the task and selects the extra work that has been carried out.
PUSH BUTTONS:
Quit: Returns you to the Technicians form.
Help: Displays help on the current application using the default browser.
Clock OUT: Clock the technician off the WIP.
