Displaying a record

What do you want to do?

To display a record in Grid Format:

  1. From the Grid Form, right mouse click. A pop-up menu is displayed.

  2. Select Filter.

The following selection criteria are displayed:

Note: If you select Range, you also need to enter the first and last record number in the range. Tick the Inclusive check box if these records are to be included in the results.

  1. Select the required option

  2. Enter a value for the search.

  3. Click the OK button.The system carries out a search and display the results.

To display a record in Column Format:

  1. From the Grid Form, click the Column button.

  2. In Start at and Finish at, enter the record (or range) that you want to display.

  3. Click the Sort button. A dialog is displayed prompting you to select the required key path.

  4. Select the key path and click the OK button. The first record in the range is displayed.

  5. Click the Next and Previous buttons to display additional records.

To display a record in GEDIT Format:

  1. From the GEDIT Form, enter the record that you want to amend and press the <TAB> key. The record is displayed.
