For each type of extract you must complete the company-specific parameters and company mapping. Company-specific parameters are specific to the Point-of-Sale company for which the extract is to be run. You can have up to 10 parameter records per company.
Standard functionality exists that allows you to create, amend, display and delete records.
To access the GDX Company specific parameters:
The MS UTILITIES MENU is displayed.
The GENERIC DATA EXPORT MENU is displayed.
The GDX Company Specific Parameters form is displayed.
The system defaults the details into the form.
The GDX Company Specific Parameters form is displayed when you select the GDX Company specific params option from the GENERIC DATA EXPORT MENU. Within this form, you can set up company mapping and company parameters, and view the export history of an extract.
Field Descriptions
Company/GDX: A unique identifier for the extract.
Company: The Point-of-Sale company number.
Company map tabs: The company mapping records specific to the Point-of-Sale company. The system can hold up to 10 mapping records.
Note: Company-mapping is currently not required for DAF extracts.
Company parameters tabs: The setting of the company specific parameters. There are 10 occurrences of company specific parameters.
- Franchise code: The dealer code allocated by DAF Trucks.
- To Directory: The directory where extract files are created and stored into your PC.
- Update sale codes: Yes/No option.
- Name of file: The file name that contains the SACd to be updated.
Note: Update sale code and Name of file parameters are only applicable to the Sales by Account Number and SACd report and they are only used for setting up the system or when a new sales code has been commissioned.
Last run date: The last date the extract was run.
By: The ID of the user who ran the extract last.
Instance: The number of times the extract has been run.
Company-mapping describes the relationship between a given module with associated company numbers listed, and the source company and module for the extract.
Field Descriptions
Company: The Point-of-Sale company number.
GDX type: A unique identifier for this extract.
Description: A description of the corresponding company mapping. It defines the relationship between the company you are mapping and the company you have selected.
Company mapping: The company mapping records are specific to the Point-of-Sale company. You can have up to 10 mapping records per company.
Last run date: The last date the extract was run.
By: The ID of the user who ran the extract last.
Instance: The number of times the extract has been run.

By: The ID of the user who ran the extract last.
Instance:The number of times the extract has been run.
