After a new price file is loaded onto the system, the Update-discounts-codes option is taken and the mapping is copied onto the master price file. When a new price-file or amendment file is loaded it does not have to the MLI (2) detail so the update MLI codes option has to be run to update the master price file before the stock file is updated.
To update the discount codes:
A dialog box is invoked prompting you to select an item from the list.
The Ford - Update MLIs form is displayed.
