If there is no drop-down 
menu in the New product group-box on the Point-of-Sale Form and the EPC 
button is not enabled, the User id needs access to the Manufacturer Systems module for the Ford franchise/company. Contact your Systems Administrator to adjust your Priority level (level of authorised access).
The following error messages may be displayed:
ERROR: Unable to communicate with eCat as the eCat daemon isn't running
Start the eCat daemon.
ERROR: Login to DMS failed, DMS user name or DMS password is invalid
Check the DMS user name and password in Ford eCat. It must be the same as the Point-of-Sale operator code (and password if one exists).
ERROR: No DMS session according to given parameter found
Ensure that the Point-of-Sale operator matches the one in Ford eCat connected to the user that is logged in.
