Introduction

Vauxhall trade club is a trade discount scheme where the dealer provides a set special trade price to customers who are registered with Vauxhall. The dealer is able to claim a credit from Vauxhall for the extra discount given to these customers. Only a certain number of dealers are part of the trade club scheme.

The Trade Club software automates the process of notifying GM of parts sold at Trade Club prices to Trade Club members. It runs in Timed Operations and scans the WIP's in Point-of-Sale looking for any Trade Club parts invoiced to either a Trade Club account or as cash sales to a Trade Club account holder. The program is driven by a Trade Club number commonly held on the Sales Ledger account header. Also featured in the Trade Club software is the Trade Club detail facility, which prints off previously exported Trade Club transactions.
