Once a month, Jaguar require that you submit details of franchised parts on your stock file under the Find-a-Part (FAP) scheme. Jaguar use the information that you generate to update a central stock availability file which can be referenced by all dealerships.
The Autoline system allows you to generate a file containing this information and transfer it to Jaguar. The file that you submit includes the total stock quantity and the sales history for each part number for the previous month.
Before you can generate a FAP file, you must ensure that the Autoline system is set up correctly. This is normally carried out by, or on advice from, a consultant.
